Eddie Fury & Special Guest Paul Adams, Sports reporter for the Huron Daily Tribune will be providing live play by play for the first game. JJ Particka will join the crew for the second game. Coverage starts at 5:30pm.

where do you come off with the comment about Pt. Hope being a class E school?
this comment does not sit well with the people of Pt. Hope.
The term is not a slam against Port Hope, but if there was a class 'E' school designation, Port Hope would be in it. It is a testament to the talent they have been able to put together with as small of a school as they are enrollment wise.
Besides, our complaints department closes at... well wait, we don't have a complaints department.
Fine. I guess you didn't listen to why I said that. That's the problem these days nobody listens to whole content to understand why I said that. So now there is no excuses. You are Class D, Everybody knows that. It was just an analogy that actually favored the argument that Port Hope is a very good team and should not be taken for granted just because of the size of the school it is. It is hard enough to field a team with such great talent at a school that does not have the advantage and number of students that other substantially larger Class D size schools have. So if you understand good. If you don't then I am sorry. Now there is no excuses to be made on being the size of school if the wins or losses come. well the fine people of Pt. Hope take it as a slap in the face. We are a very fine class D school and whether we have 14 kids in high school or 140 we strive to be the best. To be considered lower in class, a class that doesn't even exist no matter what size we actually are is an insult.
Save the comedy routine for the nightclubs.
Well it's too bad that you take it that way. You are the first and only person to complain about the coverage that we have given Port Hope (when nobody else would...). Regardless of how you take it, the designation of a Class E school is a term of endearment. I suggest you lighten up and be happy that such a great team has received the coverage they deserve. Radio was not going to come out and cover them during the regular season because they can't generate the revenue. We have covered them because they have been a great story, and an excellent team. We wish both the Lady Bluestars and Lady Eagles the best of luck in Thursdays game!

Port Hope is a very small school and their season has been a very memorable one. Referring to them as "Class E" could be seen by some as a put down. I really don't seem to understand why they would be referred to as "Class E", but it really doesn't matter at the end of the day. Go Blue Stars!
I do suppose the more P.C. term would be "Student Body Challenged"... But, Class E establishes the same thing (they are a small school) and is a lot easier to say!
Don't tell Ed (Deckerville Alumni), but I am secretly rooting for the Blue Stars - regardless of their class designation. Guess it's not much of a secret any more - oops!
