I was hoping to hear the HB game Monday night :(

Good luck to all the Thumb teams!

That game will be on WLEW Cruise 102.1 FM, sorry we can't be there. If the budget allowed us - we would have been there.

why now? said...

that makes no sense, you have been running all over the place the last 4 weeks. The number of Thumb teams is dwindling fast and your now you decide to pull back on coverage?

How are they pulling back on coverage? regionals at deckerville that contains three teams from the nctl or GTC sounds like good coverage to me. on top of that the girls quarterfinal at cps is a pretty full schedule.

correct me if I'm wrong but he has 2 crews, 2 channels to stream on and only using 1 crew and 1 channel ignoring HB Monday night.

The fact that people want Thumb Tailgater at multiple events is a very good thing. It means people are listening, and the experiment is working.
I haven't talked to Eddie to why TTS is not covering Harbor Beach, I will let him discuss that. However, like one person said, three teams from the NCTL and GTC are involved in the regional at Deckerville, that's where TSS should be as far as I'm concerned. My advice would be to listen to the late game - BCAS vs. Peck. There will be regular updates on the Harbor Beach game in that broadcast.

Eddie! Who'd have thunk you'd have this kind of discussion on your blog six months ago!? People are listening and looking for you at their games, and disappointed when you can't be there -- that's great news! Keep doing what you're doing while maintaining balance and a sane schedule, and good things will continue to happen! Good luck this week!

Part of our issue with doing the HB game is simply timing. We are down manpower wise this week, so that makes it tough.

I was hoping that we might be able to put something together to cover HB. It just wasn't in the cards. Remember, our broadcasters cover these games because we are fans - and we want to see these student athletes get the coverage they deserve. HB certainly deserves the coverage, it just wasn't possible for TTS this week. Hopefully they move on and we will be able to cover them again this year!

If the games weren't so damn far from my house, I'd help you guys out.

Hey Jason - thanks for all the help you and Rick have been this season. You guys have given us a class boost whenever you have been on the air.

Personally, I would like to cover EVERY game. Sometimes, logistics makes us have to choose. Hopefully we will be big enough down the road not to have to make those choices.

Listening to Ed & Mike right now - Genesee Christian is as good as I thought they might be. They are giving North Huron all they can handle.

North Huron is definitely making a game of it - good luck in the 4th!
