It is the Elkton-Pigeon-Bay Port Lakers (10-5, 6-1) hosting the Bay City All Saint Cougars (11-5, 7-1). All Saints & Lakers already met just two days ago on the Cougars home floor, with the All Saints winning 75 - 69.
The Greater Thumb West title is still up for grabs, as the Vassar Vulcans are also in the mix. There is a couple games that have implications on who will have the upper hand for the title. It will be another "Wild West" coming down to the wire!
In the NCTL, Carsonville-Port Sanilac has a chance to at least get closer to the NCTL South title with a win over the NCTL North Champions - the North Huron Warriors. The Warriors edged the Tigers in the first meeting 68 - 65.
In second place of the NCTL South are the Memphis Yellowjackets who have an "NBA" like schedule in the next week. Memphis has a game tonight on Friday, Saturday vs Kingston , and then on Tuesday against Carsonville-Port Sanilac.
In the Greater Thumb East Harbor Beach has to get past the pesky Marlette Red Raiders in order to have a strangle hold on the GTE Title. Ubly Bearcats hopes Marlette can pull off the upset and then pray for another upset for the Sandusky Redskins over the Harbor Beach Pirates next week. Sandusky has already pulled their upset over Ubly this past week, and also look to avenge their earlier season loss to Brown City tonight, who by the way, Ubly will face on Wednesday.
This late in the season anything can happen at this point! Look at what the Brown City Lady Greendevils did on Thursday night - they defeated the #1 Class C State ranked Sandusky Lady Redskins, 41- 31!
**Paul Adams, Sports Reporter for the Huron Daily Tribune; will be the special guest for the pre-game & halftime shows on the Thumb Tailgater Sports live game webcast tonight.

nothing like screaming play by play
I know I hate when I do that! Sorry!! I even left myself notes to not do that, but I get emotional at a good game. But thanks for listening!
Glaza and Particka weren't doing that last week. Best broadcast of the year.
Emotion and down right screaming are two different things.
give eddie and his guys a break. at least they're out their covering games on a friday night unlike that joke of a radio station wlew.
"Emotion & Down right screaming are two different things" ...you know I remember telling my girlfriend that a long time ago....
Anyways, I just hope your enjoying the coverage folks. I was happy to bring on Rick Glaza & JJ Particka to. You just may hear from them again soon to this week...
best broadcast of season? come on give me a break please. I brought you football and so far a full season of basketball. Be ready for Baseball & softball folks!
Hey Eddie,
What happened in your own words after the game? I've read some of the things that other people have said, on the Tribune's Sports Blog, was it as bad as everybody is making it sound or was it worse?
