Week 9 HS Football Games - Live Webcasts

Week 9 of high school football is here - which means the end of the regular season. Many teams in the Thumb Tailgater Sports coverage area have made the playoffs while some are seeking one more win to get in. Others for playoff points, home field advantage, or just pride.

Our featured game on Channel 1 features that scenario as the Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots (5-3) are coming off two straight losses, and have their backs against the wall as they must win this week to get into the postseason. It could be tough against a resurgent Harbor Beach Pirates (3-5) who despite having been eliminated from the playoffs can play the spoiler.

Channel 2 has the Sandusky Redskins (8-0) have already sealed a playoff spot and the outright Greater Thumb East league championship. Now they want a perfect regular undefeated season that could help them have home field advantage during the postseason. But the Capac Chiefs (2-6) are seeking revenge for the last two years of defeat to Sandusky.

Coverage starts at 6:45pm - Click Channel 1 or 2 on www.thumbtailgater.com
