Monday Notes - Week 8

Week 7 thumb area high school football added some pressure for teams this coming Week 8!
Thumb Tailgater Sports will be covering the very hot Marlette Red Raiders as they pursue their quest for the postseason. Marlette (4-3) pulled off a dramatic win over the formerly undefeated Deckerville Eagles (6-1), 21-20. Now Marlette faces off against the Brown City Greendevils (3-4). Coverage starts at 6:30pm.
We are still deciding if we will have a second game to cover on Friday night. However some of the personnel will be free this weekend. Even though both Peck (1-5) & Memphis (1-6) are having a very down year, there is always something special about going to a Saturday afternoon homecoming football game at Peck. Coverage starts at 1:30pm!
The Week 8 Edition of the TTS Podcast show will be available come Tuesday. Once again Huron Daily Tribune Sports Writer/Reporter Paul Adams will join the show.
**Added note - we were going to cover the Deckerville @ Ubly game this Friday night; but with already two radio media outlets presenting the game, we felt it would be a better service to cover another game for our sports fans. We are working on maybe getting an internet stream of the game for the out of radio listening area folks though...stay tuned for the develpoments on that.

That would be great if you can do the internet stream So the out of state fans could listen. Nothing against shaking the lakes or rocking the docks but its sailing the Gulf and surfing the Alantic down here and a great game between two of the thumbs best would go great with our margaritas!!!!! Go Thumb Football Go Cats MR.Horn and the gang at Billy's Burger Shack

Unfortunately, after testing, we found that the audio integrity just didn't hold up. We would need to have a direct stream to our server to be able to keep the audio audible. This might be something we can work out with the radio stations in the future - but for now, it's just not possible.
