Fierce Friday of HS Basketball - February 27th, 2015

It's the final night & week of the high school girls basketball regular season before the playoffs start on Monday, March 2nd.
Thumb Tailgater Sports will have double header Live Webcasts of high school girls & boys basketball action in the Blue Water Area Conference.
On this Friday, February 27th, we feature some fierce hard court play with the Yale Bulldogs at the Richmond Blue Devils.
First game we cover starts at 6pm with the girls basketball game. It will be followed by the boys basketball that has major BWAC league title implications. Both Richmond & Yale boy teams have only one league loss in the conference play. The winner will have the upper hand for the league title. If Richmond wins they will be BWAC champs - if Yale wins the title could be decided on the final night of the boys basketball regular season on Thursday, March 5th.

Hear all the action live on the webcast! Click Channel 1 on www.thumbtailgater.com

Also of note in our coverage area - are other high school boys basketball league titles that will be decided by the end of the night with some have already been claimed. The Greater Thumb West champions are the Bad Axe Hatchets due to their win over Reese on Wednesday. The Summit League champs are International Academy of Flint. Harbor Beach Pirates can be outright champions of the Greater Thumb East with a win tonight. And the Tri-Valley East title will be known by tonight with a classic battle between Millington at Frankenmuth. (Trust me - I don't see Lakeville defeating Frankenmuth next week.)
