It's been like the "Six Degree's Kevin Bacon style" or more like 12 degrees of HS Boys & Girls Basketball in the the Thumb Tailgater coverage area. For instance - it started to really show a couple weeks ago...In Boys - Marlette beat Kingston who upset Peck who defeated Harbor Beach who lost to Vassar who then lost Reese who also lost Harbor Beach who defeated Marlette who lost to Reese who were defeated by Bad Axe who defeated Kingston but then Bad Axe lost to Marlette who were defeated by Sandusky & Vassar who lost to Unionville-Sebewaing who lost to Reese who then defeated Sandusky & Vassar who also lost to Millington who then were beaten by Birch Run...which Kevin Bacon has heard that it's fun in the thumb. Yeah shake your head on that.
And in Girls Basketball it's the BWAC where four teams are bouncing each other off for the league title - such as...
Croswell-Lexington lost to Capac who lost to Armada & Richmond who were both defeated by Croswell-Lexington...
Okay - enough confusion.

Monday, Jan 26th will have high school girls basketball in a NCTL confernce showdown which could decide the league title. It has the Kingston Lady Cardinals at the Deckerville Lady Eagles.

Wednesday, Jan 28th has a Greater Thumb Conference clash in girls baskeball with the Sandusky Lady Redskins at the Reese Lady Rockets. A game on who will be the "Queens of the GTC".

Friday, Jan 30th will have a boys basketball that is yet to be determined.
Saturday, Jan 31st starts (finally...) our coverage of St Clair County Community College (SC4) Women & Men basketball action in their final stretch of league games in the MCCAA. It features the SC4 Skippers at Delta Pioneers.
