Week 7 has some high school football teams seeking to clinch a playoff spot - for others they are trying to stay alive for the postseason. Thumb Tailgater Sports will present two Live Webcast coverage of teams who are in that very situation.Channel 1 features a Blue Water Area Conference game with the Yale Bulldogs (3-3) at the Almont Raiders (3-3). Both teams have had some tough losses - some close & and others not so close. This game is critical for both as a loss could push them out of the postseason.
Channel 2 has a Greater Thumb East showdown with the Harbor Beach Pirates (4-2) at the Brown City Green Devils (2-4). This a pivotal game for both as a loss for the Pirates could take them out of a chance for a outright league title but also out of the playoffs as they have a competitive stretch to the end of the regular season with Ubly & Unionville-Sebewaing left on the schedule. The Green Devils simply need to win out the rest of the season and hold on to hope that the numbers fall into their favor for the postseason.
