The MHSAA HS Girls Basketball Playoffs roll along on this Thursday, March 10th - with the Regional Championship games. The winners will move onto the Quarterfinals on Tuesday.Thumb Tailgater Sports will presented a Live Webcast of the Class D Regional 28 Championship game with the Kingston Lady Cardinals (19-3) facing off against Bay City All Saints Lady Cougars (19-3).
This is a rematch from last year - but that took place in the Regional Semifinals - Kingston went on to win later in the Regional championship game over Parkway Christian. Kingston defeated Parkway Christian this year in the Regional semifinals, while All Saints took down Flint International.
Kingston got the big win in dramatic fashion in overtime 33-32, and with it a second straight Regional title. Madie Cofer took it took overtime by making 1 of 2 of free throws - and continued to make big plays with a basket & another free throw to tie it in overtime. Sarah Savage also came through for Kingston making some key free throws in overtime including the game winner. Bay City All Saints had their chance with a last second layup attempt by Hannah Ducolon with two defenders in front of her, that hit the glass board high and did not go in.

Great Lakes Sports Network also presented a Live Webcast of the Reese vs Ithaca girls basketball Class C Regional 22 Championship. Ithaca won that game 68-45.
Sandusky was also hoping to win a Regional titles tonight on their home court. They were defeated 46-36 by Flint Hamady.
