Wednesday Winter Blast Of Basketball

Thumb Tailgater Sports is back with another live internet audio webcast for Wednesday night! In high school boys basketball court action - it's the rematch between the Ubly Bearcats at the Sandusky Redskins. In the first meeting on Jan.12th, the game went into overtime with Ubly getting the win 57-53. Sandusky came away with new found respect from everyone in the GTE after that loss. However the skid continued for the Redskins, only winning two of the last eight games overall.
The Ubly Bearcats hope to stay in the hunt for the GTE Title by winning from here on out in league play leading up to their rematch with the Harbor Beach on March 2nd who won the first meeting and now remain alone in first place in the GTE. But first Ubly has to get through Sandusky, who could spoil that goal for the Bearcats.
**Weather Winter Storm Permitting!**

**UPDATED** The winter storm that ripped through the Thumb area canceled the majority of Wednesday night games, including the Thumb Tailgater Webcast game of the night, Sandusky vs Ubly.

Paul P. What is up with your blog? It has been down all day.

Don't know, it went down last night. Hopefully, it will be back soon. But I can't give any time table on it's return.

Which is why I have a E-Edition of the Huron Daily Tribune! It is the online version of the newspaper. It won't get wet, it's at your fingertips with the click of the mouse, and the pictures are nice and clear. Top it all off, it is a LOCAL paper! Great coverage for me as a sports fan to get it 5 days a week and with the decision to have it out on Saturdays was all the better. It's the way to go people!

Eddie, the E-edition of the trib and the blog are 2 separate things. The trib blog has been down and still is as of tonight whereas the e-trib doesn't "go down"

I'm sure people are looking to rip on the O-G Bulldogs for not showing up vs. North Huron

Which is why you should get the subscription. If one goes down you have the other.
The Bulldogs did show up! All six of them in a big way! It's hard to compete with the stamina and numbers that North Huron has. But both teams played hard the whole way through. It may make for an entertaining District to.
